DQ Entertainment Wins Award for Best Indian Animated TV Series at EME 2013

DQ Entertainment International (DQE), a leading animation, gaming, live action, entertainment production and distribution Company recently received the “Best Indian Animated TV Series” award for its highly successful series The Jungle Book at Infocom- Assocham EME Awards held on 9th march 2013.


Siddharth Vasudev, Creative Director received the ‘Best Indian Animated TV series award at Infocom- Assocham EME awards 2013 on behalf of DQE.

The Jury panel of Excellence in Media & Entertainment (EME) Awards 2013 consisted of Indian stalwarts in the field of entertainment such as Aniruddha Roy Choudhury, eminent film maker and national award winner; K V Sridhar, National Creative Director, Leo Burnett India; Shantanu Moitra, acclaimed Music Director; Prashant Bhatt, weekday Programming Head, Colors, Viacom; Sujata Dev, Chairperson, National Council of Media & Entertainment, ASSOCHAM; Gurbir Singh, Senior Associate Editor, Business World.



The Jungle Book has already been sold for broadcasting, licensing & distribution in multiple countries around the world. The animated series, is airing in 165 countries across the globe, and has over 100 licensees worldwide in key categories such as publishing, gaming, digital, apparel, accessories, home furnishings, back-to-school, games, puzzles, amusement, Halloween, seasonal products and more. The series is now into its second season after popular demand from audiences across the world.

About "The Jungle Book":

Based on stories from Rudyard Kipling's immortal classic, "The Jungle Book" series features delightful tales of wit, friendship, courage and loyalty with the man-cub Mowgli and his friends in the dense Indian jungle. The series is filled with drama, excitement and adventure mixed with comedy as it unfolds Mowgli's escapades especially from his enemy Sher Khan, the tiger, with the help of Baloo the wise bear, Bagheera the black panther and (sometimes!) the mighty Kaa, the rock python.
